Fascia Release (Dance Version) w/Kristin Humphrey

6/28

7:00PM - 8:00PM

Our fascia is a complex communicative tissue network that helps to shape our body and hold everything in place. Scientists today are discovering so much about this material and just how much of a role it truly plays in our bodies. There is much yet to be understood. What we do know is that our fascia tightens under stress. This tightening feels similar to when a muscle is tight, causing tension and discomfort and even changes to the structure of our bodies! Fascia holds our organs, bones, blood vessels, nerve fiber and muscle in place, so this tightening can have drastic effects on how we feel and even look! Fascial tightness relief can be found in many ways, but one of the most unique (and fun) ways is through dance. Come learn how to help alleviate your fascial tension in this fun class. Leave your fear of being judged at the door. This class asks you to show up fully authentically and willing to maybe look a little funny as you listen to the movement your body is begging for, but we will all be doing our own version of this so let's be willing to look a little silly together! Let's have fun with it and leave feeling a little more limber than when we arrived!
